Betty J. Fraley, 77, of Wheelersburg, went to be with her Lord on Monday, March 26, 2012 at the SOMC Hospice Center. Born July 1, 1934 in Lyra, she was a daughter of the late Raleigh and Genevieve Andre Haney and was a retired switch board operator at the Southern Ohio Medical Center. Betty was a proud member of the Antioch Free Will Baptist Church. Also preceding her in death were her husband, John Fraley, Jr., and a grandson, Jonathan Fraley. Surviving are two sons, Rodney (Vicki) Fraley of Greenup, KY and Brian (Gail) Fraley of Lakeview, a daughter, Nancy (Tom) Schisler of Sciotoville; brothers Wilbur (Betty) Haney of Anacortes, Wash. And Raleigh (Ann) Haney of Huber Heights; sisters Ann (Jack) Richards of Griffin, GA, Carol (Ray) Teitsch of Powell, Wyoming and Sue (Otto) Bloomfield of Portsmouth; grandchildren Stacey Groff, Kelli Locker, Emily Fraley and Clayton Fraley; and great-grandchildren, Emma Groff, Ashton Groff, Jonah Fraley and Madison Fraley. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Pastor Rick Henderson and Pastor Ron Blevins officiating. Interment will be in Vernon Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Brant’s in Sciotoville 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to Antioch Free Will Baptist Church and SOMC Hospice. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the SOMC homecare girls, Teresa Bauer, Mary Madden, and Kim Conn, and Betty’s caregiver, Brenda Lamblin, for their excellent care they gave their mother during her illness. They were all very special to her.
