Billie Cole , 86, both of North Moreland, died Sunday, October 20, 2013, respectively, at Community Hospice in Ashland, KY.

Born on July 8 1927, in Wheelersburg, Billie was a son of the late Cecil and Ruth Pearl Daulton Cole, was a retired truck driver for Coca-Cola, and was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War.  He was a member of the James Dickey Post of the American Legion, Poage Masonic Lodge in Ashland, Ky, and a Shriner.   Preceding him in death were his wife, Alma, a son, Ron Cole, a grandson, Ron Cole II, a great-grandson, and a brother, Glen Ray Cole.

Surviving Billie are three sons, David and Gregory Cole of North Moreland and Larry Cole of Alexandria, VA; five daughters, Carolyn Cole and Betty Cole, both of North Moreland, Patricia (Bill) Howerton of New Boston, Linda Stout of Jacksonville, Fla., and Dolores (Robert) Ackerman of Ceredo, WV; a daughter-in-law, Angela Cole of Franklin Furnace; grandchildren, Shaine David Cole, Ben Noel, Billie Jo Noel, Zachary Cole, Nathan and Christopher Scott Cole, Joshua Howerton, James, Jerry and Jason Stout, Christina Carter, Melissa Preece and Kevin Allen; and 16 great-grandchildren.  Alma is also survived by a sister, Helen (Roger) Likes of Mansfield.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Rev. Sam Salyer officiating.  Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park, with military honors for Billie conducted by the James Dickey Post.  The family will receive friends Billie at Brant’s from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.  A masonic service for Billie will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
