Bonnie (Blizzard-Karshner) Ruse, 73, of Franklin Furnace, died Friday, May 27, 2022. Born on June 20, 1948 in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Ethyle Osborne Blizzard and was a 1966 graduate of Green High School.
She was also preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Ronald Ruse; two brothers, John Henry Blizzard and Leonard Foster Blizzard; a sister, Rose Blizzard White, a brother-in-law, Mike Yarnell and a sister-in-law, Brenda Blizzard.
Surviving are a son, David (Wendy) Karshner of Ironton, a daughter, Mary Karshner (Eddie) Smith of Keystone Heights, FL, grandchildren, Jeremy Karshner of Franklin Furnace, Joshua (Courtney) Karshner of Amelia, Makayla and Gage Smith of Keystone Heights, FL; great grandchildren, Colbie and Corbin Karshner of Amelia; five brothers, Paul (Peggy) Blizzard, Arthur (Eugenia) Blizzard, Carl Blizzard, Wilford (Becky) Blizzard and Thad (Brian Bohl) Blizzard, a sister, Audrey (Jim Stamper) Yarnell. Special niece/bonus daughter, Angela Lee, several nieces and nephews, a brother-in-law, Phillip White and a sister-in-law, Carol Blizzard.
A celebration of Bonnie’s life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 4th at BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTVILLE with Pastor Nelson Klaiber officiating. Friends and Family are invited to visit at Brant’s from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
