B. Violet Imes

B. Violet Imes, 94, of Sciotoville, died Sunday, May 29, 2022 at home, with her family by her side.  Born on August 19, 1927 in Crown City, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Ella Kitts Davis and was of the Baptist faith.

Also preceding her in death were her husband, George Imes; four brothers, Edward Davis, Orville Davis, Frank Davis and Donald Davis; three sisters, Marie Rogers, Margaret Spillman and Rose Abdon.

Surviving are two daughters, Deborah Johnson of South Shore, KY and Michele Imes of Sciotoville; two grandchildren, Gwendolynn Ruckel and Heather McKnabb; a great-grandson, Zachary VanBibber and numerous nieces and nephews.

A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 1st, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Reverend Oscar Perry officiating.  Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park.

Friends and Family are invited to visit at Brant’s from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the SOMC Hospice.
