Charlene Little

Charlene Little, 77, of New Boston, went to be with the Lord at the SOMC Hospice Center, on Thursday, December 9, 2010. Charlene was born on December 20, 1932 in Scioto County, a daughter of the late John and Ethel Stone Martin. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Luther “Ben” Little and a brother, Marvin Lee Martin. Survivors include her son, Jimmy (Cathy) Little, one brother, Russell Martin, three sisters, Hattie (Fred) Payton, Deloris Wolfe, and Betty (Weldon) Cooper, a granddaughter, Danielle Lewis, five great-grandsons, several nieces and nephews, and her friends at Buckeye Towers. A funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Brant Funeral Home in Portsmouth with Rev. Barbara Payne officiating. Interment will be in Harrison Furnace Cemetery.
