Clifford Price

Clifford E. Price, 76, of Wheelersburg, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, August 04, 2012, at Best Care Nursing and Rehab Center in Wheelersburg. Born June 26, 1936 in Prichard, KY, he was a son of the late Herbert E. Price and Jettie and Lenton Slone, and was a retired brick layer for the former Empire-Detroit Steel Corp. Cliff was a very proud member of Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene for over 50 years. Also preceding him in death was a brother, William Price. Surviving are his wife, Kathryn Marshall Price, 3 sons, David (Margie) Price of Sciotoville, and John (Darlene) Price and Donald Price, all of Wheelersburg, 2 daughters, Diana Whiteside of Athens and Ruth Ann Price of Wheelersburg, 4 brothers, Ronnie Slone of Huntington, WV, Melvin Slone of Barboursville, WV, Damon Slone of Proctorville and Darrell Slone of Key West, Fla., eleven grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Joshua Whiteside and Rev. Garry Proehl officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
