Daisy L. Cottle, 86, of Sciotoville, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at the SOMC Hospice House, with her family by her bedside. Born on March 12, 1929 in Carter County, KY, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Elizabeth Carter Morrow, was a member of the Sciotoville Church of the Nazarene, and was a homemaker.
Daisy was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Cottle, a son-in-law, Gary Faulkner; a daughter-in-law, Carole Cottle; two grandson, Tim Faulkner and Dylan Cottle; two brothers, Don Morrow and Eddie Morrow; and three sisters, Violet Haney, Mildred Hiles and Rita Burt.
Surviving are two sons, Ray Cottle of New Boston and Michael (Debra) Cottle of Wheelersburg; two daughters, Sandra Faulkner of Sciotoville and Rose (Dan) Lodwick of Wheelersburg; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren and her special dog, Stewart Little.
The family wishes special recognition to Daisy’s caregivers, Tracy, Kristy, Kim, Sheree and Tammy.
A Celebration of Daisy’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Pastor Bob Morrow and Pastor Chad Garinger officiating. Interment will be in Meade Cemetery.
The family will receive guests at Brant’s after 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Memorial gifts may be made to SOMC Hospice.
