Daniel Lee Stiltner, Sr., 65, died Wednesday in his home. Born on June 28, 1957 in Portsmouth, he was a son of Billy Joann Caldwell Stiltner and the late Elbert “Red” Stiltner, and a welder for Mullens Construction.
Danny, affectionately called “Digger”, was preceded in death by his father and his sister, Joanna “Tuge” Holdren.
Surviving are his wife, Vickie Lore Stiltner, two sons, Daniel L. (Kerry) Stiltner, Jr. of Portsmouth and Jason (Stephanie) Stiltner of Waverly; his mother, Joann Stiltner Grashel of Wheelersburg; brothers, Elbert (Betty) Stiltner of Vanceburg, KY, Clyde (Kathy) Stiltner of Sciotoville and Carl (Mysti) Stiltner of Portsmouth; sisters, Tina (Ron) Greene of McDermott and Julia (Marty) McCoy of Portsmouth; four grandchildren, Danelle, Devin, Jaden and Tyler; and special great-granddaughters, Willow and Aria.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 6th, with Bernard Tilley officiating, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE.
The family will receive guests at Brant’s from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
