David Hicks

David L. Hicks, 62, of Portsmouth, died Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the SOMC Hospice Center. Born on October 8, 1949 in Portsmouth, he was a son of the late John and Nana Hicks. Surviving are his wife, Rosalie Bevis Hicks, two sons, David L. Bevis of South Shore, KY and Jonathan Hicks of Portsmouth, one daughter, Sherri L. Hicks of Portsmouth, one sister, Josie Ferrell of Friendship, five grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew, J.T., Allison and Destinie, and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN PORTSMOUTH. Friends may call after noon on Saturday.
