Debora Elaine Baker

Debora E. Baker, 74, of Sciotoville, died Monday, February 24, 2025, at the SOMC Hospice Center, with her family and friends by her bedside. Born on October 11, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Mary Jane Gilliam Yates.

Also preceding her in death was a brother, Michael Lewis and a sister, WaDonna Gilliam.

Debora worked for Star Workshop, Blackburn’s and Kmart and was a member of the First Apostolic Church of Portsmouth.

She loved thrift shopping, canning, traveling and horses.

Surviving are two sons, Mark A. Meadows and Donald Baker; two daughters, Melissa (Chris) Rase and Carolyn (Craig) Lewis; a sister, Rose Hobson; twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Services will be at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in Scioto Burial Park.
