Dennis Hatfield
November 4, 1946 — December 28, 2015
Dennis D. Hatfield, 69, of Portsmouth, died Monday, December 28, 2015 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center. Born on November 4, 1946, he was the son of the late John N. and Margaret McDonough Hatfield. Denny was a retired trailer shop manager with Glockners and a member of St. Monica Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife, Michele Corby Hatfield; a son, Shane (Michelle) Hatfield of Portsmouth; three daughters, Beth (Joe) Pettigrew of Cincinnati, Stacie (Chad) Hickman of Minford, and Kelly Hatfield of Portsmouth; two brothers, John (Karen) Hatfield of Los Angeles, CA and Mark (Olivia) Mangrum of Arizona; a sister, Antoinette Rose of California; and nine grandchildren, Brayden, Tanner, Sadie, Zavier, Shelby, Gabby, Lainey, Jessica and Eric.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Mangrum.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Noon on Monday at the St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church with Fr. Joseph Yokum as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery. The family will receive guests at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. Recitation of the rosary will be 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
