Donald Everett Ball

Donald E. Ball, 71, of San Tan Valley, AZ, went to be with the Lord on April 18, 2023.  Born on October 17, 1951 in Portsmouth, he was a son of the late Garnett and Juanita Bell Ball.

Don was a 1969 graduate of Portsmouth High School and a 1973 graduate of Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC, with a degree in Business Management. 

He was a retired Price Analyst for the US Air Force and was a former member of Temple Baptist Church in Portsmouth, where he worked in the Awana program after graduating from college.

Also preceding him in death was a sister, Brenda Ball in 2016.

Surviving are his brother, Larry Ball of Gilbert, AZ and nieces and nephews, Vanessa and Micah Ellis of Bellingham, WA, Melissa and David Vines of Peoria, AZ, Christopher and Tessa Ball of San Bruno, CA and Taylor and Vivian Ball of Wasilla, AK.

He was a loving and generous brother and uncle, and will be greatly missed.

Donald loved Nascar racing, playing golf, baseball and reading.

A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10^th, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Pastor John Gowdy officiating.  Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park.

The family will receive guests at Brant’s from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10^th.
