Donna Jean Bradley, 74, of New Boston, died Monday, March 5, 2012 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center. Born on August 26, 1937, in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Olive Pollitt Nickles. Donna Jean attended Portsmouth High School and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Leonard Bradley in 1983, a son, Leonard Bradley, a brother, George Nickles, and a sister, Colleen Johnson. Surviving are two brothers, Virgil Nickles of West Portsmouth and Arthur Nickles of Piketon, a sister, Bonnie James of Ferron, Utah, and her best friend and caregiver, Opal Tibbs of South Webster. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN PORTSMOUTH with Bishop’s First Counselor Paul Benson officiating. Interment will be Scioto Burial Park. The family will receive friends at Brant’s in Portsmouth from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital.
