Donna Sexton , 81, of Portsmouth, died Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Hempstead Manor. Born on March 14, 1933 in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of the late William E. and Oralein Davis Messer, and was of the Apostolic faith.
Surviving are two daughters, Teresa (Rod) Armstrong of Wheelersburg and Janie (Randy) Nickles of McDermott, a sister, Karen (Larry) Coleman of Norwalk, four grandchildren, Megan (Matt) Henry, Kristin Nickles, Ashley (Greg) Igo, and Jordan Nickles, two great-grandchildren, Carson Henry and Rylee Igo, and two nephews, Adam and Aaron Coleman.
Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Nancy and Kathy Messer.
The family will receive friends at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park. A service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
