Dorothy Stiles Davis, 93, of Portsmouth, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at SOMC Hospice surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 9, 1930, in South Webster, Ohio to the late John Abel and Viola Crabtree.
After many years of service, she retired from Marting’s Department Store. Dot was a member of the First Church of God in New Boston where she served as a Sunday School teacher.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband George G. Stiles who raised their children together. Preceding her in death was her second husband, Robert Davis; son, G. Larry Stiles; daughter, Lori Frazier; and granddaughter, Amy Frazier. Seven brothers and six sisters also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Marsha (Don) Venturino; brother, Don (Abby) Crabtree; and son-in-law, Ray Frazier. She was a loving “Nanny” to her five granddaughters Kari, Krista, Amber, Abbey, and Kirsten; three grandsons, Matthew, Trevor, and Nate; and five great-granddaughters, Bailee, Rylie, Brynlee, Hadlee, and Everly.
A Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 25th at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Pastor Andy Day and Pastor Acy Gibson officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park.
The family will receive guests at Brant’s from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
