Edna Chamberlain, 90, of Wheelersburg, went to be with her Lord on Monday, May 14, 2018, at the SOMC emergency room. Born on March 8, 1928 in Carter County, KY, she was a daughter of the late John and Lucy Shaffer Horsley and was a homemaker.
Edna was recently honored for her 90th birthday as the oldest member of Union Free Will Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Leonard Chamberlain, and fifteen brothers and sisters.
Surviving are a son, L. Kyle (Melissa) Chamberlain of Murfreesboro, TN; three daughters, Sandra (John) Little of Portsmouth, Patricia (Sim) Martin of Sciotoville and Donna Gee of Wheelersburg; ten grandchildren, Drs. Julie (Mike) Heidish, Heather (Chad) Potts, Michelle (Chad) Flinders, Adam Martin, Jeremy Gee, Katie (Nathan) Brammer, Kylee Chamberlain, Colby Fuqua, Preslee Fuqua and Peyton Fuqua; and nine great-grandchildren, Mikalyn Heidish, Jacob Heidish, Caleb Heidish, Taylor Potts, Logan Potts, Mason Flinders, McKinley Flinders, Natalie Brammer and Eli Brammer.
A Celebration of Edna’s Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at Union Free Will Baptist Church with Chris Oiler and Zach Conkel officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park.
The family will receive guests at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE from 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday and after 10:00 a.m. at the church.
Memorial gifts may be made to Union Free Will Baptist Church.
