Elnora Walker

June 1, 1938 — October 27, 2016

Elnora “Toots” Walker, 78, of Portsmouth, died Thursday, October 27, 2016, at the SOMC Hospice Center.  Born on June 1, 1938 in Pike County, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Grace Woodruff Havens.  Toots attended Cedar Street Church of Christ in Christian Union.

Also preceding her in death were a son, John Walker, and three sisters, Pauline Inman, Alice Dingess and Hilda Bowens.

Surviving are her husband, Charles Walker, three sons, Rick Walker of Portsmouth, Clint “Bo” Walker of Ashland, KY and Mike (Peggy) Walker of Sciotoville; two daughters, Beverly (Roger) Bobst of Slocum Station and Linda (Tony) Slusher of Minford; a sister, Louella Gilpin; sixteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday at Bailey’s Chapel Cemetery in Piketon with Rev. Gary Heimbach officiating.

The family will receive guests at BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Monday.  Memorial gifts may be made to SOMC Hospice.
