Ernie L. Mick, Jr, 35, of Sciotoville, died Sunday, February 28, 2021, in the Southern Ohio Medical Center emergency room. Born on December 23, 1985 in East Liverpool, he was a driver for Ted’s Towing and attended Sciotoville Church of the Nazarene. Ernie was a loving husband, daddy and son. He never met a stranger and had a big heart.
Preceding him in death were his father, Ernie Mick, Sr. and his grandparents.
Surviving are his wife, Amber Dawn Trapp Mick, two sons, Logan Mick and Strother “Levi” Craft and a daughter, Stephanie Ward, all at home; his mother, Cindy Mick Philby and his dad, Dale Philby, two sisters, LeahAnnda (James) Snyder and Amber Dawn Philby, all of Fond Du Lac; and many nieces and nephews.
A service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 6th, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Pastor Chad Garinger officiating. Military honors will be rendered by the James Dickey Post of the American Legion following the service.
The family will receive guests at Brant’s from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Masks will be required for admission, but not furnished by the funeral home. Social distancing will be observed.
The flags on the avenue, along with the U. S. Navy flag, will fly in honor of veteran Ernie Mick, Jr.
