Ethel Osborne

Ethel Tracy Osborne , age 81, of Portsmouth, died Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at the Bridgeport Healthcare Center. Born on August 31, 1932 in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of the late George and Edna Cook Barry. Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Earl Osborne, five brothers, Dave, Vernon, Robert James and Leon Barry, four sisters, Rebecca, Melissa, Mary, and Florence.
Surviving are a son, Mike (Elizabeth) Osborne of Portsmouth, two grandchildren, Jason (Candice) Osborne of Wheelersburg and Amanda (Josh) McAlister of New Boston, six great-grandchildren, Allison, Jaylyne, Chelsey, Joshua, Aiden, and Gabriel, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Brant Funeral Home in Sciotoville. Interment will be in Universal Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Brant’s from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday.
