Gretchen Arn

Gretchen Alice Arn, 97, of Sciotoville, died Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at the SOMC Hospice Center. Born November 26, 1914 in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of the late Ellsworth and Alice Christman Storm and a member of First Presbyterian Church. Also preceding her in death were her husband, Lee Arn, a daughter, Karen Arn, brothers Ellsworth “Bud” Storm, Albert Storm and Richard Kenneth Storm, and a sister, Katherine Storm. Surviving are a daughter, Betsy (Mike) Murray of Xenia, grandchildren Benjamin Murray and Emily (Georg) Zerling, and a great-granddaughter, Gretchen Zerling. A funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Rev. Stanley Webster and Rev. Frank James officiating. Interment will be in Scioto Burial Park. The family will receive friends at Brant’s in Sciotoville 5-8 p.m. on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to an area food bank.
