Gwyndolyn Joyce Patrick, 86, of Lucasville, died Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at the SOMC Hospice Center. Born on April 8, 1928 in Birmingham, Alabama, she was a member of Minford Church of the Nazarene and was a homemaker.
Gwyn was preceded in death by her husband, Buford Patrick.
Surviving are a son, Samuel (Rosalie) Patrick of Lucasville; a stepson, Richard (Lucy) Lutz of Las Vegas, NV’ a stepdaughter, Ellen (Robert) Boutier of Henderson, NV; four grandchildren, Paulette (Larry) Weaver, Richard (Amy) Patrick, Samantha (Danny) Crank and Joyce (John Zhu) Patrick; and nine great-grandchildren, Brian, Michael, Nathan, Cole, Abigail, Alexis, Kelsey, William and Isa.
A funeral service will be held at noon on Saturday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Rev. Mark Bales officiating. Interment will be in the Memorial Burial Park. The family will receive friends at Brant’s after 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to SOMC Hospice.
