Harold J. Arnett, 66, of Wheelersburg, went to be with his Lord on Friday evening, December 9, 2016, at the SOMC Hospice Center. Born on September 24, 1950 in Salyersville, KY, he was a son of the late Rand and Japeline Shepherd Smith and Harold Arnett, Sr.
Harold was a former superintendent for Mullins Construction and was honorably discharged as a Specialist Four in the Army Reserve.
He was a member and past master of Lucasville Masonic Lodge #465, and a member of the Valley of Cincinnati Scottish Rite and York Rite.
Harold loved fishing with his family and friends, but his enjoyment in life was spending time with his family.
Also preceding him in death was a brother, Randy Smith.
Surviving are his wife, Debra King Arnett, three sisters, Janet Leight of IN, Gloria (Ed) Anderson of Tinley Park, IL and Sandy (Calvin) Minyard of Effingham, IL and many special nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Pastor Bernard Tilley officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive guests at Brant’s from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. A masonic service will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Memorial gifts may be made to SOMC Hospice.
