Harold Montgomery

Harold E. Montgomery , 72, of Sciotoville, died Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at the SOMC Hospice Center. Born on December 25, 1940 in Portsmouth, he was a son of the late Rosa Lykins Montgomery, was retired from U.S.E.C., and attended Wheelersburg United Methodist Church. Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Paul and Carl Montgomery and a sister, Ethel Harness.
Surviving are his wife, Donna Stacey Montgomery, a son, Stacy (Amy) Montgomery of Wheelersburg, a brother, Robert (Sandy) Montgomery of Minford, two sisters, Edith Mae Southworth of Waverly and Betty (Robert) Snyder of Wheelersburg, a very special grandson, Mason Montgomery, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Pastor Mark Bales officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens with military honors by the James Dickey Post of the American Legion. The family will receive friends at Brant’s from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to SOMC Hospice.
