Mary Helen Curtis, 99, of Rosemount, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, December 29, 2016, at her home with her family by her bedside. Born on October 6, 1917 in Circleville, she was a daughter of the late James Everett Lyons and Myrtle Seymour Lyons and was a fancy stitcher at the former Williams Manufacturing Co.
Helen was a member of Candy Run United Baptist Church.
Also preceding her death were her husband, Edgel Curtis; a brother, Estel Lyons; two sisters, Juanita Kirsch and Phyllis Rigsby and a granddaughter, Pamela Euton.
Surviving are a son, Lowell (Judy) Curtis of New Smyrna Beach, Fla; two daughters, Darlene (Bill) Perkins of Rosemount and Faye Wheeler of Minford; a sister, Roberta Plymale of Portsmouth; ten grandchildren, Scott Curtis, Shawn Curtis, Dianna young, Tom Perkins, Sandy Perkins, Mary Ellen Aeh, Sally Jo Eshem, Wanda Eshem, Edgel Eshem and John R. Eshem; and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 3rd, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Junior Murray officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park.
The family will receive friends at Brant’s from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday and one hour prior to the service.
