Irene Sparks

Irene A. Sparks, 87, of Portsmouth, died Sunday, February 19, 2017 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center. Born on August 20, 1929 in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of the late James and Pauline Wikoff and was a homemaker.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Sparks and three brothers, Bill, Dick and Charles Wikoff.
Surviving are four sons, Johnny Sparks of Chillicothe, Don Sparks, Jr. of Portsmouth, Ron Sparks of Rosemount and Jody (Melissa) Sparks of Trenton; two daughters, Dreema (Michael) Furnier of Portsmouth and Linda Skaggs of Waverly; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 24th at the Friendship Cemetery with Pastor Steve Phipps officiating.
