James A. McGlone II, 61, died Saturday, April 15, 2023, at his home. Born on October 10, 1961 in Portsmouth, he was a son of the late James and Mary Betts McGlone, he was the owner of Jimmy & Son Timber Cutting.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Neace McGlone and a grandson, Austin Justus.
Surviving are sons, James (Missy) Burgess) Neace of West Portsmouth and Izaish Robinson of Columbus; daughters Jamie (Nick Kerns) Payton of Wheelersburg and Arizona (Nathan Wicker) Floyd of Sciotoville; a brother, Carl McGlone of South Webster; sisters, Gertrude (Gene) Clarke of Jackson, Lulu (Wes) Loper of Columbus, Mary Hughes, Rosemary (Elza) Fisher and Eugenia Queen, all of South Webster; and grandchildren, Trace (Alysa) Justus and Phoenix Wicker.
A service of remembrance will be held 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18th, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Jarrett Withrow officiating. Interment will be in Pinkerman Cemetery.
The family will receive guests at Brant’s from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
