Jeffrey Vernon Carrier

Jeffrey V. Carrier, age 47, died suddenly on Monday, June 23, 2023 at his home of a heart attack. Born on July 28, 1975 in Portsmouth, he was a son of the late Roy Vernon and Wilma Collins Carrier and was a longtime employee of Rooster’s in Chillicothe.

Jeff was a graduate of Clay High School in 1994 and attended the Rubyville Community Church.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Edward Carrier.

Survivors include his wife, Rachel Henderson Carrier; two sons, Braylon Lucero and Aden Lucero, both at home; three daughters, Larissa (Steven) Simkins of Chillicothe, Selena Henderson of Chillicothe and Liliana Carrier at home; a brother, Michael (Linda) Carrier of Circleville; three grandchildren, Paisley, Kaliana and Avielle and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.  Interment will be in Rubyville Community Church Cemetery.
