Jesse Sexton

Jesse L. Sexton, 73, of Wheelersburg, went to be with his Lord on Monday, March 26, 2012. Born April 19, 1938 in Ruggles, KY, he was a son of the late Elmer and Virgie Parker Sexton and a retired operating engineer for Local #18 in Columbus. Jesse was a member and assistant Sunday School Superintendent at Antioch Free Will Baptist Church and was a member of Aurora Lodge #48. Also preceding him in death were a daughter, Dana Sexton, brothers, Alva and Raymond Sexton, and sisters Lodema Williams, Billa Jean Siefeit, and Juanita Tolley. Surviving are his wife, Linda Ruggles Sexton, two sisters, Goldie Dummitt of Garrison, KY and Ethel Pruitt of Quincy, KY and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Pastor Rick Henderson officiating. Interment will be in Vernon Cemetery. A Masonic service will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The family will receive friends at Brant’s in Sciotoville from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday.
