Josephine Days

Josephine M. Days, 88, of West Portsmouth, died Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Heartland of Portsmouth. Born on April 21, 1923 in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of the late Hiram and Grace Cooley Hall. Josephine was also preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Days, one son, Raymond Days and two brothers, Harold Hall and Carroll Gene Hall. Surviving are two daughters, Joyce Barker of Mount Sterling and Carolyn Applegate of Portsmouth, two brothers, Hiram Days, Jr. of Lucasville and Robert Hall of Houston, TX, one sister, Lucille Durham of Toledo, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at McKendree Cemetery with Rick Clark officiating. The family will receive friends at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN PORTSMOUTH from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday.
