Judith Hartlage

Judith Hartlage, 82, of Portsmouth, died, Thursday, November 7, 2024, at River Run Healthcare of Portsmouth. Born on October 25, 1942, in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of the late William J. Hartlage, MD and Katherine Doerr Hartlage.

Judy was a graduate of Portsmouth East High School and the Portsmouth Interstate Business College. She worked for several years at the Southern Hills Hospital in the business office and later at the Retired Senior Volunteer Program and Goodwill.

Also preceding her in death was two sisters, Jane Guinn and Ann Anders.

Surviving are three sisters, Patty (Phil) Stanley, Kay Beegan and Joan Coriell; two brothers, Bill (Jamie) Hartlage and Jim (Barbara) Hartlage; many nieces and nephews and their children and brother-in-law, Bobby Joe Guinn.

She loved family gatherings and being with her friends and co-workers. 

Also, she loved to travel and was known for her photographic skills and pictures.

The last several years have been at River Run of Portsmouth because of her many physical and illness issues. She had nothing but praise for the loving staff at River Run.

A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 15th, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park.

The family will receive guests at Brant’s from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
