Julia Picklesimer

Julia Dills Picklesimer, 96, of Franklin Furnace, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, January 14, 2015. Born on July 14, 1918 in Johnson County, KY, she was the daughter of the late George Dills and Susie McKenzie Dills.
Julia was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Picklesimer, Sr., two brothers, Russell Dills and Frank Dills, her twin sister, Elizabeth Dills McFadden, and a grandson, Timothy Wells.
Surviving are her seven children, Harold (Kathy) Picklesimer of Fort Worth, TX; Helen L. Sellers of Ironton; David (Rosie) Picklesimer of Franklin Furnace; Orville (Candace) Picklesimer, Jr. of Wheelersburg; Janet Walk of Ironton; Richard L. (Barb) Picklesimer of Franklin Furnace, and Robert N. (Kathy) Picklesimer of Cincinnati; seventeen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
A service will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pastor Dennis Hankins officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE.
