November 22, 1933 — September 2, 2012

JUNE JUANITA BIGGAM (Nee King), 78, of Lakewood, Ohio passed away, Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Malachi Hospice House, 2810 Clinton Ave. Cleveland, Ohio 44113, after a battle with esophageal cancer. She was born November 22, 1933 in Portsmouth, Scioto County, Ohio. Her parents were Charles Samuel King and Fannie Spicie Stevens. She has been a resident of Lakewood and West Cleveland, Ohio since 1960. She was a waitress and restaurant manager starting with White Castle Restaurants in Columbus, Ohio and ending with John’s Diner on Detroit in Lakewood, Ohio. Her interests were always taking care of others including her family and her customers where ever she worked. She only had an 8th grade education but made the best of it throughout her life raising her three sons and taking care of everyone in her life that needed it.
She is survived by her sons, Charles C Caldwell (Lynne) of Spring, TX and Earl Michael Caldwell (Melissa) of Columbus, OH, her daughter, Charmaine (Spears) Palanca (Romeo) Cleveland, OH; stepsons Glenn Biggam of Tampa, FL and Tim Biggam of Dayton, OH; and grandson, Bryan Michael Bell Caldwell of Westlake, OH that she helped raise – along with her sisters, Charlene Lois McGinnis, Fern Sue McQuithy, Nancy Lee Maloney and Sharon Kaye Burns. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Allen Caldwell and her parents, Charles Samuel and Fannie Spicie (Stevens) King, sisters, Mary Ruth (King) Farriss, and Gladys Faye (King) Brown along with her brothers, Earnest King, Garrett Oliver King, James Edgar King and Earl Eugene King. Lastly she was preceded in death by her husband Glenwood Morris Biggam.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Brant’s in Sciotoville after 10 a.m. Thursday.
