Kenny Smith

Kenneth J. Smith, 54, of Sciotoville, died Monday, November 7, 2016, at Cabell-Huntington Hospital. Born on July 30, 1962, he was the manager of Jenny’s Giovanni’s Restaurant in Sciotoville for 22 years.
Kenny was an Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Patti Patterson, his parents, Jim and Ruth Weber Smith of Sciotoville; a “son” whom he raised, Brayden Harrell at home; a stepson, Kenneth (Ashley) Copas of Sciotoville; a sister, Beth Ann Smith of Wheelersburg; a niece, Amanda Dawn “Tater” Smith of Columbus; and three grandchildren, October Copas, Kenneth Copas, Jr and Alice Copas;
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Veteran’s Day, Friday, November 11th, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Pastor Steve Phipps officiating. Interment will be in Scioto Burial Park with military honors by the James Dickey Post of the American Legion.
The family will receive guests at Brant’s from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
