Lenora Jones

Lenora May Jones, 85, of Portsmouth, died Wednesday, February 2, 2011, in the SOMC emergency room. Born October 4, 1925 in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of the later Clyde and Thelma Wood Bolton and a fancy stitcher at U.S. Shoe Mfg in Vanceburg, KY. Also preceding her in death were her husband, Francis Jones, brothers Eddie & Richard Bolton, and a sister, Emma Lou Billinger. Surviving are a son, Johnny Jones of Minford, a former daughter-in-law, Linda Jones of Sciotoville, sisters Barbara Kelley of Wheelersburg, twins Faye & Kay of Las Vegas, 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A service will be 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Edgewood Abbey Mausoleum with Alvin Breech, minister, officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park. The family will receive friends at the Brant Funeral Home in Portsmouth from 9-11 a.m. on Friday.
