Linda Collins

Linda L. Collins, 76, of Stoutsville, formerly of Portsmouth, died Wednesday, April 25, 2018, in Canal Winchester.  Born on November 18, 1941, she was a daughter of the late James Sidney and Elizabeth Call.

Linda graduated from Portsmouth High School and the Ohio State University, receiving a bachelor’s degree in nursing.  After graduation, she stayed in Columbus at O.S.U. Hospital with the famed Dr. John Peter Minton.  She administered chemotherapy to hundreds of Dr. Inoshita’s patients, working at both Mercy Hospital and Scioto Memorial Hospital making friends with families.

Also preceding her in death were her best friend, Rosalie Smith, a brother and a sister.

Surviving are her friends, Virginia Mock, Charlene Smith, Melissa Arledge and Sherri Brown.

A Celebration of Linda’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 30th, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Pastor Steve Mann officiating.  Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park.
