Linda Messer

Linda Messer, 69, of South Webster, died Saturday, April 23, 2022, in St. Mary’s Hospital as the result of an automobile accident.  Born on December 24, 1952 in South Webster, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Marjorie Neff Bettis and worked in Southern Ohio Medical Center records department.

Linda had previously been employed at the Greenbrier Convalescent Center.  She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing, listening to Paul Willis Hagen preach, and of course she loved talking on the telephone and texting.

Also preceding her in death were a son, Travis Messer, a brother, Albert Bettis and a sister, Judy Bettis.

Surviving are a son, Nick Messer of South Webster, a sister, Patty Frye of West Portsmouth; best friends Deanna Rawlins, Pam Fetty, Wanda Patterson and Donnie Carter and we can’t forget her loyal companion, Daisy Mae.

A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27th, at South Webster Cemetery with Jamie Rockwell speaking.

Arrangements are under the direction of the BRANT FUNERAL SERVICE IN SCIOTOVILLE.
