Marilyn Ruley

Marilyn S. Ruley, 64, of Wheelersburg, died Sunday, July 15, 2012 as a result of an automobile accident. Born on May 23, 1948 in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of the late Everett and Willa Mae Slone Magaw. Marilyn was employed at Scioto Shoe Mart as a comptroller for over 20 years. Surviving are her husband, Charles W. Ruley, two daughters, Dana (Jason) Caney and Kelly (Paul) Mazak all of Westerville, one brother, Danny Magaw of Portsmouth, grandchildren, Parker and Sydney Caney, and Jordan, Courtney, and Jacob Mazak, and a special aunt, Nellie Burns of Pickerington. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Magaw. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Rick Arthur, minister, officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park. The family will receive friends at Brant’s in Sciotoville from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the .
