Martha A. Kitchen, 91, of New Boston, went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 10, 2022, surrounded by her family. Born on January 19, 1931 in Carter, KY, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Martha (Stamper) Duzan.
Martha was a loving, caring mother to each of her children and a loving wife to her late husband, Paul Kitchen.
She enjoyed playing her guitar and singing at Buckeye Towers and with her family and friends. Martha loved canning, baking, cooking, and working with her flowers. But….most of all she enjoyed her children and grandkids.
Surviving Martha are her two daughters, Pamela Postma and Annette (Greg) Peck; two son, Randy (Connie) Kitchen and Bill (Deb) Kitchen; a brother, Chuck (Sharon) Duzan; a sister, Linda Jones and many grandkids and great-grandkids.
Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Gladys Duzan and Joy Carmichael; a brother, Earl Duzan; a daughter, Sarah Louis Kitchen; a grandson, Jonathan Peck and two great-grandsons, Justice Puckett and special grandson she adored and cherished, Andrew “Hollywood” Peck.
A Celebration of Martha's Life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 25th at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Pastor Mike Gifford officiating.
The family will receive guests at Brant's from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Memorial contributions may be made to SOMC Hospice.
Martha’s family expresses great gratitude for the loving care given to Martha in her final days, and remembering the care they gave to Hollywood.
