Mary Frances Kitchen , 63, of New Boston, died Saturday, June 22, 2013, at her home. Born on August 22, 1949 in Williamson, WV, she was a daughter of the late Frelan and Mary Ward Scott, and was a retired central sterile processing technician at the Southern Ohio Medical Center with 30 years of service. Also preceding her in death was a son, Floyd Thurman “Toby” Moore. Surviving are her husband, W. W. “Sonnie” Kitchen, two sons, Paul David (Kaci) Moore of West Portsmouth and William Edward (Melissa) Moore of New Boston, a stepson, Scott Kitchen of Portsmouth, two stepdaughters, Cheryl (Larry) Wheeler and Traci Ann Apel, all of Wheelersburg, three sisters, Gladys Shaffer of Wheelersburg, Lunia Mae Mullins of Lucasville and Virginia McClellan of Ashville, 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Chaplain Peter Michael officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park.
