Maurice Cremeans

Maurice Cremeans, 90, of Wheelersburg, died Christmas morning at the SOMC Hospice Center. Born on May 30, 1931 in Portsmouth, he was the son of Maurice and Gracie Green Cremeans.

Maurice was a member of the Garden City Free Will Baptist Church and a former operator at Martin-Marietta.

Surviving are his wife, Joy Blanton Cremeans; two sons, Brian (Mindy) Cremeans of Columbus and Randy (Stephanie) Cremeans of Wheelersburg; a daughter, Karen (Tom) LaVelle of Springfield and three grandchildren, Allee Cremeans, Alex Burchett-Cremeans and Ryan Burchett-Cremeans.

A service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 28th at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Pastor Blaine Etterling officiating.  Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park.

The family will receive guests at Brant’s from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
