Max Richard Kinker, 88, of Wheelersburg, died Wednesday, March 20, 2024, in Abbyshire Convalescent Center in Bidwell. Born on August 13, 1935, in Portsmouth, he was a son of the late Harry Waldo Kinker and Mildred Lozier Kinker and was a former bank manager.
Max was of the Baptist faith, and was an avid fisherman, bowler, and golfer.
He was an U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
Also preceding him in death was his wife, Doris Fankell Kinker, three brothers, James Kinker, Woody Compton, and Phil Kinker and three sisters, Beverly Ketter, Deanie Compton and Debbie Jones.
Surviving are four daughters, Rita Piatt of Elyria, Jo Williams of Wheelersburg, Denise (Scott) Mangus of North Ridgeville and Carla (Russ) Keysor of New Brighton, PA; fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
A service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, March 25th, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Pastor Warren Kelly officiating. The family will receive guests at Brant’s after 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
