Melissa Ann Buffington, 41, of Lucasville, died Monday, October 20, 2014, at the SOMC Hospice Center. She was born on October 10, 1973 in Baltimore, MD.
Preceding her in death was her father, Phillip Frick.
Surviving are her husband, James “Hank” Buffington; a son, Nathaniel Buffington and a daughter, Lorene Buffington, both at home; her mother, Doris (David) Cooper Blake of Clarksville, TN; and two brothers, Phillip Frick of Lucasville and Frank Frick of TN.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Rev. Rick Arthur officiating. Interment will be in Wheelersburg Cemetery. The family will receive guests after 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
