Nancy “CeCe” Gable, 73, of Rosemount, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 27, 2021, from her home with her family by her bedside. Born on October 4, 1947 in Portsmouth, she was a retired activity director for long care patients at Heartland.
A member of The Rock Church in Wheelersburg, CeCe looked forward to her trips to Florida with “Big Daddy” and devoted her life to her family and friends.
Nancy’s compassion for the elderly was not just a career, but a love near and dear to her heart. Sometimes she spent more than her earnings to help improve her patient’s lives and give them the respect they deserved during their later years.
Preceding her in death were her husband, David R. Gable, her beloved brother, Jack Hall, and her mother, Gertrude Gilliland Hall.
Surviving are a son, David Darby Gable of Louisville, KY; a daughter, Keri (Mark) Kuhn of Minford; two grandchildren, Kaitlin (Timothy) Fulk and Kenneth (Inyoung) Gable and their mother, Barbie Gable; a great-granddaughter, Harper Fulk; special friends, Susan Martin, Dee Crawford, Joyce Dillow, Judy Roe and Marijean Rapp; and of course, her dog, Coco and granddogs Tootsie and Dottie.
A Celebration of CeCe’s Life will be held at noon on Wednesday, March 31st, at The Rock Church with Rick Clark officiating. Interment will be in Scioto Burial Park.
The family will receive guests at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday and at the church after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday.
The family requires that masks be worn and not an option, along with social distancing.
Memorial gifts may be made to SOMC Hospice or a charity of your choice.
