Patricia (Dawson) Coriell, 74, of Portsmouth, OH, passed away on Wednesday, October 27th. She died as a result of what the Bible says in Romans 5:12. She was born Sept. 26, 1936, to the late Okey and Beulah Dawson. Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Ron Coriell; 3 sons, Perry (Peggy) Coriell of Athens, Toby (Maria) Coriell of Sarasota, Fla., and Troy (Lorraine) Coriell of Portsmouth; 3 grandchildren, Corey, Chelsea and Seth; a sister, Judy (David) Selvage of Toledo, and many, many good friends who will miss her dearly. Pat was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on September 12, 1954 and attended the Kingdom Hall in Wheelersburg. She loved the earth, and loved animals of all kinds. In lieu of flowers, her wish was for something to be planted to beautify the earth, or to help, or even adopt, an abused or homeless animal. A memorial service will be held at the Portsmouth Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 115 Bierly Road, Portsmouth, at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 6th. The family will receive friends after 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brant Funeral Service in Sciotoville.
