Paul P. Kaut, 82, of Rosemount, died Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center. Born on January 27, 1930 in Portsmouth, he was a son of the late Grover and Leota Salyers Kaut and was a mechanic at the Rosemount Point Ashland Service Station. Paul was a member of Candy Run Wesleyan Tabernacle. Also preceding him in death were brothers David, Robert and John Kaut and a sister, Marie Kaut. Surviving are his wife, Muriel Edwards Kaut, 2 sons, Paul “Bo” Kaut, Jr. of Dayton and John R. Kaut of Rosemount, 3 daughters, Jeanie (Joe) Harris of Rosemount, Julie Spencer of Rosemount and Joni (Bob) Lust of Hamden, a sister, Edna M. Lintz of Rosemount and four grandchildren, Sarah “Peewee” Spencer and Matthew, Andrew and Andria Kaut. A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN PORTSMOUTH. Interment will be in Rosemount Cemetery with military honors by the James Dickey Post of the American Legion. The family will receive friends at Brant’s in Portsmouth from 4 until 8 p.m. on Thursday.
