Pauletta Paulin, age 78, formerly of Sciotoville, died on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at home with her family by her bedside. She was born on April 22, 1943 in Portsmouth, was a retired bartender from the American Legion and a dual member of the New Boston Eagles and the Marysville Eagles.
Also preceding her in death were her husband, John Paulin, a sister, DeeAnna Atkins, her parents, Paul and Helen Mingus and her grandmother who raised her, Samantha Mingus.
Surviving are three daughters, Lynn (Matt) Holtzapfel, with whom she made her home in Marysville, Pam Higgins of Portsmouth and Jackie (Tim) Marshall of Marysville; five grandchildren, Adam (Brigit) Holtzapfel, Alex (Stephanie Cunningham) Holtzapfel, Josh (Courtney) Higgins, Jonathon (Nikki) Bramblette, Christa (Chris Yoder) Ratliff; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Francis Bauer and Beulah Swartz; her beloved four-legged companion, Mason and many friends in Marysville.
A service will be held at BRANT FUNERAL SERVICE IN SCIOTOVILLE on Thursday, November 11th at 11:00 a.m. with Father David Glockner officiating.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive guests at Brant’s from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Union County Humane Society and the Loving Care Hospice of Marysville.
