Pauline Noel

Pauline Noel, 100, of Portsmouth, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, April 27, 2202, in the care of her daughter in Chillicothe, surrounded by her family.  Born on February 20, 1922 in Wolfe County, KY, she was a daughter of the late Ingram and Pearl Brewer Buchanan and was a dedicated homemaker.

Pauline was a member of Milldale Road Church of Christ in Christian Union, had a passion for flower gardening and enjoyed playing the piano.

Also preceding her in death were her husband, Clay Noel, a son, Wayne Noel, a daughter, Terri Bryant, a brother, Jay Buchanan and sisters, Mae Brown, Naomi Stone, Betty Fletcher and Rosalie Drake.

Surviving are a daughter, Martha (Bob) Sims of Chillicothe, a daughter-in-law, Gail Schrage of Sciotoville, a sister, Juanita Jarrells of Portsmouth, seven grandchildren, Ed Noel, Steve (Janet) Noel, Chrissy (Ron) Doyle, Shawn (Nicole) Sims, Rachel (Jerry) Klaiber, Joshua Sims and Amanda (Scott) Neff; sixteen great-grandchildren; two soon to be great-great grandchildren who she was waiting to hold, numerous special nieces and a special family friend, Steve Doster.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 2nd, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE.  Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park.

The family will receive guests at Brant’s from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
