Phoeba Fannin

St. Clairsville

Phoeba M. Fannin, 96, formerly of Rubyville, died Tuesday, January 10, 2023, in Park Health Center surrounded by her family.  Born on June 5, 1926, in Louisa, KY, she was a daughter of the late Jay and Marie Webb Wilson and was a dental assistant.

Phoeba was of the Baptist faith and a founding member of the Willow Garden Club in Minford.

Also preceding her in death were her husband, Herman T. Fannin, who died in 1981, a brother, Woodrow Wilson, and sisters Ina Lambert and Dorothy Wilson.

Surviving are two daughters, Anita Karen Fannin of Maryville, TN, and Joyce Annette (David) Coffman of St. Clairsville; sisters Carolyn Lemaster of Fairborn, Thelma Komar of Florida, Linda (George) Hardin of Louisa, Phyllis Bryant of Louisa and Frances (Charles) Chapman of Louisa; three grandchildren, Nicholas (Lynn) Vanderpool, Courtney (Tim Purvis) Vanderpool, and Rebecca Collins; and great-grandchildren Alex, Noble, Ella, Micah, Brenna, Aidan, Donovan, and Amiah.

A service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 13th at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Tim Purvis officiating.  Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park. 

The family will receive guests at Brant’s from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
