Phyllis Brannon

Phyllis May Brannon, 91, of Sciotoville, died July 29, 2015, at her home. Born on March 20, 1924 in Scioto County, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Stella Harris Ottney, formerly attended Berean Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Also preceding her in death was her husband, Raymond E. Brannon, and two brothers, Russell and Larry Ottney.
Phyllis is survived by two sons, Gary (Kathy Boehm) Brannon of Portsmouth and Randy Brannon of Sciotoville; a daughter, Melody (Jim) Donathan of Sciotoville, two sisters-in-law, Kathy Ottney of Pittsburgh and Bonnie Staten of Columbus; ten grandchildren, Jon (Debbie) Maynard, Brandy Campbell, Sarah Brannon, Amy Parker, Josh Brannon, Amanda Wolf, Sarah Bussler, Joe Clascock, Aaron Boehm and Amy Bond; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 1st, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Rev. Peter Michael officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive guests at Brant’s after 12:00 noon on Saturday. Memorial gifts may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
