Ricky Sparks

Ricky L. Sparks, 63, of Sciotoville, died peacefully, Saturday, December 16, 2017, at the SOMC Hospice Center with his family by his bedside. Born on October 2, 1954 in Portsmouth, he was a son of the late Willis and Delores Brannon Sparks and was a self-employed painter.
Also, preceding Ricky in death were two brothers, Tim and Dean Sparks.
Surviving are his wife, L. Gail Stiltner Sparks; four sons, Ricky L. (Michelle) Sparks, Jr., Todd (Betty) Sparks, Rocky (Cindy) Sparks and Eric (Audrey) Sparks; two daughters, Michelle Holbert and Marlana (Wendell) Doss; four brothers, Eddie, Steve, and Scott Sparks and Jesse Howard; three sisters, Kathy Royster, Tina Rice and Wendy Taylor and twelve grandchildren.
A service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 20th, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Pastor Bob Stiltner officiating.
A gathering will begin at 2:00 p.m.
Gifts may be made to the family to defray costs.
